Pardue, Sr. and his wife of twelve years, Rachel, have four sons, Elijah, Jason, Kyle, and Micheal, Jr. and three daughters, Kristen, Addelyen and Lilyanna. Micheal is native of Taylorsville, NC where he grew up at East Taylorsville Baptist Church. He was baptized in 1995 and answered the call in to vocational ministry at 13.

Micheal is the pastor of First Baptist Church in Icard, where he has served since February. He has previously served in ministry positions in churches in Ellenboro, Bostic, Shelby, Kings Mountain and Taylorsville, NC during his nine years of ministry.

Micheal holds a B.A. in Theater Arts from Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, NC, a Master of Christian Ministry from the T. Walter Brashier Graduate School at North Greenville University in Greer, SC. and a Doctorate of Education from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Dr. Pardue has had the privilege of speaking in more than thirty churches across North 16299097_991415803353_2353412451073980692_nCarolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. In November of 2009, he was elected Vice-President of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina’s Pastor’s Conference and to the BSCNC Board of Directors in 2010. Earlier this year he was elected to the Board’s Executive Committee. On November 11, 2013, he was elected President of the North Carolina Pastors’ Conference for 2015.

He now writes for both the Biblical Recorder and for the Blue Ridge Christian News. He is the author of the six books, including It Shall Not Return Void from Rainer Publishing.
